My poem "Abigail....She Was A Sweetheart" is about someone who I was very good friends with and how we had romantic feelings toward one another. My poem is in my book of poetry "The Journey Through My Life".
"ABIGAIL....SHE WAS A SWEETHEART" Abigail, she was a sweetheart She was never judgmental We were friends from the start Some did not like her She was fair to everyone She did not get the respect She was really so deserving of If we were seen together by some There were some who made life Hell for us, especially a certain one Being with her was just idea idyllic And I enjoyed being with her Which threw some into a panic it's a shame that it did not work For married life with her Life would have been a lark We woiuld be able to enjoy one another IF, we were just left alone
