My prose / poem "A Day....July 4, 1964....Wake, Virginia" is about celebrating the 4th Of July in the beautiful Middle Peninsula Virginia Tidewater region. This poem is in my book of poetry "The Journey Through My Life".
"A DAY....JULY 4, 1964....WAKE, VIRGINIA" It was wonderful The Fourth Of July The celebration was joyful On this Independence Day Out in the beautiful Virginia rural country Along the river rolling Hearing fthe sound of firecrackers In the distance popping A family holiday cookout On a outdoor hearth cooking food Along with the night fall Came the spectacular displaying Fireworks that were colorful
