My poem "A Day....February 9, 1964....The British Musical Invasion" is about the Sunday night that The Beatles first performed on American television.

This poem is in my poetry book "The Journey Through my Life".

 "A DAY....FEBRUARY 9, 1964....THE BRITISH MUSICAL INVASION"

It was just a winters Sunday night

But it was not just any Sunday night

And it would not be your typical Sunday night

Musical history would be made this Sunday night]

Four mop haired British boys

Performed on a television show

It was the beginning for the boys

And did they put on a show

The British Invasion was ushered in

More of those mop haired boys

This time the British would win

With rocking songs and voices
