Believe it or not, many good people doing good things would rather not be noticed. I have noticed that the "fake" newspeople are trying hard to make "ordinary" people into heroes for a day with special news stories about them. But, for the most part, everyday heroes are out there doing their everyday work every day. We have to honor them and give them their due. So many people are so busy, busy with their lives and avocations, they don't even notice.
It seems to be what this world is made of. Some would purposely ignored others just for the sake of it to try to make another feel bad. In the workplace, it seems to be who you know vs. what you know. The former are players. Just do the same and give let them have a taste of their own medicine.
