My poem "A Day....August 6, 2021....The Zooming Jet" is about how a serene quiet summer afternoon was disturbed by zooming jet fighter.
"A DAY....AUGUST 6, 2021....The Zooming Jet" It was a quiet summer day In the first week of August Lunch time was serenity But a woosh noise caused anguish When a zooming jet fighter Flew just over the tree tops In pursuit of an errant Small plane that was flying in a restricted zone The whole scene was frigthening

Noise is one of our instinctual fears. When it comes upon us like a sonic boom, we can't help but be upset by it. Fortunately, as quick as jets come, they leave. Hopefully, your tranquility returned.
