My poem "A Yard Full Of Wildflowers" is about how buttercups and purple wild flowers are plentiful in yards in the springtime.
"A YARD FULL OF WILD FLOWERS" When springtime arrives Yards full of wild flowers Pretty yellow buttercups And pleasing purple flowers In the early moring light one can detect a scent Especially in the dew Of the aromatic delight

I like Spring time. It is one of my favorite seasons. The other season I like is Autumn. Both are very colorful seasons.

And then, prompted by neighborhood restrictions, we are required to mow them down to pristine green grass. What a shame to not let the beauty of and utility for birds and bees of spring wildflowers not to run their course.
