A great idea that needs to be reactivated after the pandemic.

I was religious for many years keeping up with birthdays. Especially for my nieces and nephews. It seems now that I'm older and most of them have families, they rarely, if ever contact me even with all the social media making it easier.

Back in my college days, especially while I was doing my doctorate and just after when I had a cottage overlooking the lake, I held frequent parties to get our hard-working staff and students away from work for a little while just to enjoy a good time. Those were great parties and I never regretted holding many of them without incident.
