Amongst the briars and branches,
That tear at my skin…
I fight back this strong urge,
To give in again.

But I breathe in the forest,
Where I lay down my fear.
For in the shroud of it’s darkness,
My vision will clear.

And I adjust to the madness,
That dwells among men.
But my flesh feels the rotting,
Of everyone’s sin.

Then I lay down my worries,
In the womb of our Mother.
So divinely created,
By the hands of another.

Serenity calls me,
From the leaves of the trees.
On the soft moss of wisdom,
I fall to my knees.

Gathered up in the arms,
Of the winds warm embrace.
I’ve gained strength to fight off,
Every demon I face.

It’s the souls sweetest journey,
When we taste our rebirth.
When our flesh reunites,
With the spirit of earth.
