From the cradle to the grave
We choose a road that’s all our own…
Where no one else has gone before,
And yet we never walk alone.

Within all men resides a soul
Eternal from our first deep breath…
Residing ‘neath the skin we wear,
Released the moment of our death.

The journey is a constant struggle
Crawling ‘till we learn to stand…
Some days the path is solid ground,
At times the pull of sinking sand.

Yet if we learn to reach beyond
Our self to find some meaning here…
We find that purpose does exist
Beyond the curtain of our fear.

Awakening the inner light,
To listen to the spirit speak…
Acknowledging divinity
Defines these answers that we seek.

For when we realize that life
Is more than merely what we see…
We gain the wisdom to embrace
The gift of truth that sets us free.
