It’s in between the tears I sail
on seas of bliss that meet the sand,
yet if not for the salty taste
of tears I’d fail to understand….
The way the winds of life descend
to breathe upon the withered dreams,
free flowing through the spider webs
that catches fears and muffled screams.

Of broken glass that pierces veins,
and flows the blood to meet the sea,
the graveyard shift within the mind
wreaks havoc on our sanity…
While time shifts slowly when a child
the darkness finds us all too soon,
when stars for wishing fade to black
behind an empty faceless moon.

Yet beckoning beyond the haze
of every shadow in our eyes,
are moments waiting to awaken
what we fail to realize…
For every soul must find their way
through midnight’s overcast arrival,
knowing that this life should be
much more than merely our survival.

I've been working a new job, I hope to catch up with everyone soon!
