Poem Artwork

Tell me who would I have to be
To slip once again into your arms?
What would I have to change
To find myself seduced again,
By all your naked charms?
To take repose within your arms
Must I climb the highest cliff ,
Or swim beneath the ocean’s roar?
Must I storm the bullish market
Making a million to Wall Street applause?
Would you desire me as I am
With all my issues and my flaws?
Would you love me tomorrow, today ,
Unconditionally, just because?
Is your tongue anxious and hungry
To slip between my cherry lips?
Do you recall the lusty manor ,
How passions swayed between our hips?
Would you wrap me in your passionate arms,
Willing to expose your every need?
Fu*ck me hard, love me fast
Our lovers secrets finally freed?
Press your anxious mouth on mine
Confessing old desires
Moan my name, call me yours again,
Setting my soul on fire .
Hold me tightly against your chest,
Lie to me, love ME the best,
Promise me,never compare me with the rest.
Pleasure me, kiss me roughly ,
Say those words I longed to hear ,
You were mistaken,it's ME you love,
Until forever, will hold me dear.
The tides of time have washed you dry ,
Pulling me tight, looking me in the eye
Urgently confessed your greatest sin
Never stopped thinking what could have been
You never stopped loving me.
You never stopped loving me.

This was so beautifully written, just spoke to my heart this morning, I loved your strength to say no, when your heart wanted to say yes, wonderfully written,

Donna, whatever old loves I have known are in the past and will stay there. For it does happen, I have found a greater love than all of them put together. Sometimes comes very late in life. You are wise in saying no to the old love. Bill Murray

Well done write, Donna. This is an excellent expression of something many do not know that it is almost always worse the second time around. Love changes and the only way two can experience those differences in time apart is when you are together all throughout. It is always better off to start new with someone else than to try to relive what has once failed.

"His Sin" flows from the heart of reality to imagination's dreams under the rhythms of desires and feeling of losing, but dancing on the waves of love.

I enjoyed reading "His Sin"

Good for you for saying no to an old love (even if it was 12 years ago). I too had an old love come back into my life -- someone I loved my freshman year of high school. He was my first love as it were. When he found me again we were both married and he had three children and other issues. I was on a rollercoast ride with him -- I loved again and was very happy. It almost proved diasterous for my marriage. Then when I met him in person, he let me down but I also discovered he was not what I thought he was. I've not heard from him in two years since my visit. Your poem brought back the feelings and memories from that experience. While sad, I found healing and freedom in your words. Excellent piece.
