I am thankful for our relationship

You gave birth to two children

Not knowing what life would bring

But something special happen

You managed to love us reguardless

Creating magic moments like making good

Meals from scratch when times were hardest

Like keep our heads up when things get rough

You kept it gangster at all times

You were not big or bad just tough

Battling cancer for many years

Hiding it from my sister and I

So we would not shed these tears

We were there hand and hand

Watching you take your last breath

You got your wings no more death
