NEVER FORGET

Never forget those gone before.
Family members, friends and more.
They made us what we are today.
Some struggled hard to pave the way.
Remember people from the past.
And their good deeds– please help them last.
We’re all connected, gone or here.
Let’s not forget the ones so dear.
Hearts still feel them and souls also.
That timeless bond should grow and glow.

You have wonderful thought expressed in your poem, but I find, more and more those people from earlier in our lives are neglected and forgotten in the rush of everyday living. Left alone and forgotten.
