Today is my 93rd birthday! So I felt like writing the poem below. Enjoy!

ON BEING 93

I’m 93 now – that’s quite old.

But I will still try to be bold.

Thanks to good friends and family

who help me from calamity.

Plus, wonderful caretakers too

who keep me from a fall or two.

Also, four dogs who visit here

bringing me fun and canine cheer!

I’m thinking of joy. not my age.

Grateful to all who read this page!

Being 87, I have a bit of understanding with your attitude. No victimization is a key to longevity in my book. Thank you for posting your lean, yet long in its ability to pick our attitudes as we grow older. Namaste.

Wow! That's quite an accomplishment! You write much younger. I hope you are able to give us your wonderful movie reviews for a few more years into the future. But I can't imagine how you do it. It must be tiring watching all those movies.
