Peace and tranquility accompany the night.

From below the horizon, night's blanket unfurls
Earth relaxes, prepares for restful slumber
Chatter, clamor and clattter, ebb and dissipate
As a stream of ebony emerges, this day is late
On the morrow, all are rested, ready to reawaken
With the softness of first light, our psyches gently shaken
A new attitude, our immediate mind state
Yesterday's disappointments we readily forsake
The new day's happenings, a mystery we await
Sun now fully risen, chaos slowly creeps anew
Steadily there is a deteriorating point of view
By sun on high time, everything has lost all rhyme
There is anxiety in air, as we prepare for change
To celebrate the sun again, low in the sky
We have reasoned out the day's whys
Hurry forth blanket of ebon, unfurl and bring me rest
Tonorrow awaits wth yet many new tests

Moving to the tempo of the rising and lowering tides this piece flows with genuine beauty...

Be safe,

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
