The loss of friends is so distressing. For they were a blessing
Past so near Voices I can still hear Stirring music in my ear Friends now gone Their times in arrear Clear, sharply focused Images appear, friends You are so dear Though you be not here Our time of togetherness Behind the present Times I cherish Our hearts and plans We shared For each other We dearly cared Why can't yesterdays Coexist with today And tomorrow
