Awakened, by the sound of parchment rustling

In my hand, the scribe's tool

Now for the fool wandering aimlessly in my mind

The challenge has been issued

The Muses will be satisfied

Create with passion

New lore in lyric, rhyme and verse

I am ordered to pen

As I bend before their poetic call

Stand tall and share visualizations

Paint them provocative hues

Let them serve as old, new news

Shout aloud to your readers emotions

Shock and awe them to reality

Then, as quickly as you have their attention

Soothe them with passion, compassion, apathy

Let them be confused and perplexed

Amused with your whit

Stir their imaginations to utter

Wonderful frustration

Close with questions only each reader

Can possibly answer

For the miens are very personal

Quickly now, let the work begin

Think it, think, it, think it

Ink it, ink it, ink it
