Lost love.

Tears and fears I suffered

Thinking of all the years wasted

Gone my security, my love, my harmony

Taken by the brown eyed man

Stranger to my life

Stole your love from me

Gave his you think, for free

Soon you will know

There is no light of the moon

To make your life glow

He'll use and abuse you

Drop you into the trash heap of

used up hearts

When he decides to take off for other parts

You'll not be in his plans

For a new start

Then tears and fears you will suffer

I will no longer be a buffer

When you left you took my caring

So I will not be sharing

Impulses from the gleam in a stranger's eyes

Are better held in abeyance

Not given consideration for a second glance

For it is not the gleam of romance

It is the stare of lust

Aimed to excite the passion hidden in you

Better to have looked for another view

And now I say only, adieu

You wrenched my heart from me

It carries no sympathy

YOU got that right LOUD and CLEAR!
Now, you move on stronger than before!
I like your heart and Bio, and decided to TRAck/FoLLow your heart and soul Jon
YOu have an expressive way of getting your points across - Similiar to my own!
In this poem, I've been right HERE, and time to see it - realize it and be FREE of it! As your SELF comes back and love finds the New YOU!
hmmm...
I know I will be back, glad I gravitated into your direction!
Write On!

A lost love leaves so many empty places, but life does move forward...many of us have been there at least once.

Beautifully written poem of lost love,Jon! I think we all have at least one experience like this, and according to how deep the love it can be real misery!

I think we have all felt this way at one time or another. You express that need for them to hurt as we have been hurt by them . Well done. I hope if this is a poem inspired by a real experience of yours, that you can find a soft place to heal, where anger is a memory that does not cause further hurt to you.

be well and happy,
Kathy
