How will future readers judge.

How will my works play

To generations of future days

When they view them in their time

What words will they choose to say

Will they appreciate, yea, or nay

'Tis for them to say

I can only only lay it out there

My thoughts, my heart, my soul

I have presented them, bared

No protection from critique

No armor to ward off or defend

For then I am unable to amend

I cannot explain,if they are not

In position to comprehend

I wish no one out there

In the then, to offend

My words should not perplex

Amusement, relaxation

The intention of my works

May my insight please thee

You that now judge me

Substance to reflect upon, Jon. I actually appreciate criticism that is offered in a respectful manner... ...I try to keep my "stuff" easy to interpret. Thank you my friend. Love and peace to you,

You can delete any offending remark and ban the offender. I've learned much more from constructive criticism than all the warm fuzzies delivered in fear of offense. Amusing pieces can cut some people deeply. I like the low road...

Everyone has his/her own perspective of this miraculous planet we live on … the joy is witnessing it, through the written words of others… all different, all wonderfully interesting… yours expressed so passionately and so ardently from the soul of a beautiful man… I so enjoy reading all the poetry presented in this forum, especially yours; you are truly talented Mr. Willey.

How will future readers judge??,, Much like today, Every one perceives things in their own way,,Hopefully one will not be judged through works,,as I know things on paper can be taken in a way not intended by the writer. But, some things are out of our hands and not worth defending if one wants to judge another.
Anyway,, I enjoy your thoughts from your heart and soul,,:)

Oh, someone always thinks they have
to be a high and mighty judge.
Usually, they can't even manage their own lives.
But, critique is good..
Thanks for sharing Jon

Still Living on my Feet by Tichaona Chinyelu

Still Living on my Feet is the follow up to Tichaona Chinyelu’s first book, In the Whirlwind, which was rooted in a sense of hard-hitting revolutionary black love. However, in this sophomore effort, Tichaona brings the revolutionary essence from deep
