Heaven's Refrain

From my soon to be released book.

From Heaven's throne comes a nod

The issuance of holy proclamation

In the flock is great exaltation

There shall be a me, or you

In the tide pool of beginnings

Creation stirs an image new

Birthed, are me or you

In our life supporting ship

We are cast upon the sea of life

Charts and maps, there are none to guide our journey

Through calm waters and raging seas

We are the masters that pilot

There are no preordained directions

The Holy book has the key to resurrection

Words of the mysteries of life, wise inflections

Adhere and we can safely steer

A course lacking remorse

When we are plucked from the wild sea of life

With mercy, shall we return to Heaven's domain

To guide those upon the sea of life that remain

This is Heaven's refrain

He knew us from the womb, before - think about that. Isn't that amazing? Beautiful inspiration in these lines, Jon, thank you.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

The way you wrote this, we feel as if we are steering through the sea as well, and it makes alive for us. Good job!!
