A gift from fields told.

Bluebells foretell

A rush to bloom

Not audible

'Tis blossoms that'll reveal

Carpeted fields

Your lush hue appeals

April holiday fare

Painted everywhere

Muted ringing

Breeze bustles

Velvet cares not

When shaken to peal

Bottled scent summons

My lament

Heaven sent

In fields to play

Not upon fair skinned necks

To lay

Though at my feet you stand

Your beauty has command

The vivid imagery that you have chosen evokes sentiments in the soul, Jon. Thank you for sharing this gift. Love and peace to you, friend.
