Passion's Wind

Listen, to passion's wind.

Will you not listen

As passion's wind whispers

Honor romance with love's angelic dance

For broken hearts once scarred

With lackluster intent

Seek the sanctuary of dark shadows

To lick the wounds of piercing lament

If true and noble love be not your mission

Stray not, foray not, into the fields to sow

Love's primal seeds upon the ground of lusting deeds

Intently follow love's arched bow

Make the arrow take credible flight

Errant paths never true love's target strike

Only when there is one love

Bursting with heavenly might

Should you commission and summons

Cupid's strike of bliss

Then will him, to let the arrow fly

SUch a beautiful spin. Takes me back to woods with arrows whipping through the air and horses screaming with delight and their own brand of love. This is what it said to me.

Thank you Jon for penning a modern day poem of warning those scanning the field look for "something" with no intention or unsure of their intention of true love. Tread lightly as the scars when you trample run deep. Thanks for sharing this with the den. Deborah
