Imagination dwells within your pillow.

Within the stitched confines of my pillow

The pleasures of karats golden engage me

Emerging in a dance of exaggerated slow motion time

Through pleasured palaces of my nocturnal mind

Only this abode shall they inhabit

Scorning facts mottled in daylight's patchwork reality

Existing fleetingly, only in this node of blanketed security

Even direst straights are righted

In those rushed moments of awakening

Realitie's doors I'll breach with imagination's impunity

To roam the endless fields of gilded dreams

Dwelling in the hush of endless fertile imagination

To sleep, to reap pleasures never in light near you

Nascent wanderer, sleep tight

Golden field of rye preferred over hammered mettle. I've been having flashes of strangers in bright clothing, great detail, appearing, and then disappearing, close up, just as I awaken.

Poem of blissful escaping into sweet dreams. You write of wonderful midnight wandering. Were I wish all dreams were like the one you penned. Well Done, Deborah
