I'll Sow - You Reap

May I plant a thought?

I sow discretionary images

Upon the fertile folds of your mind

Like an ancient balladeer

My song lures you near

Meter,lyric,I've long rehearsed

Now softly 'tis dispersed

Your imagination may reap

Whatever contentment runs deep

A game I'll wage

'Til semantics have their will

As you escape into delight

Remember forever the magic

Of this peerless flight

You have sown well and it is up to the reader to take root via what you have expressed within your verses, Jon. Thank you for sharing this gift. Love and peace,

'fertile folds of your mind'. Wow, that's my favorite part. The imagery when sow is used. Also I like 'escape into delight'. Cheers

Jon, most poets have great imaginations and can paint a canvas of beauty in a matter of minutes. We have the ability to venture off to a world all our own and capture untold visuals for readers to enjoy. A nice write.
