Luminous light filters

through the morning haze

illuminating figures kneeling

as they gathered

in hushed prayer

giving praise for the beauty

of nature's cathedral

in an open meadow beneath

billowing clouds, angelic in white

softening the emerging sky

in hues of blue

incomparable inner peace

whenever souls gather to commune

Heaven's gates, stand agape

and mighty oaks are bent

forming a natural cathedral arch

willow trees gently sway

as reeds on the river bank

play a subdued muted hymn

the river's bubbling flow

adding nature's elements

for a peerless choir

engaged in praise

the earth revels in His love

as mankind joins in celebration

of His glory

on bended knee

will you not join the celebration

of this moment with me

while all of

His creations are in harmony
