Her seduction of me was total.

I sit this morning

on the veranda

bright sun has revealed

the mountains

from lingering clouds

she rests there

across the table from me

her aroma has aroused

the primal man in me

even her skin suggests

she is ripe for the experience

we met a few days ago

at the market place

she was a beauty

I knew I would bring home

to sate me with pleasure

before the sun's rise

too many times

the irresitible ones

have that magnetic appeal

I knew the moment was now

I reached across the table

held her firmly

and pulled her close

Valencia was mine

I peeled her nude that moment

and savored each juicy segment

what a delectable piece

of citrus was she

Gives a whole new meaning and dimension to 'morning glory' - a stylish literary conceit a la John Donne...has the juices flowing...and dribbling. Excellent work, Friend Jon!
