Earth is awash in the glow

of tapioca moonlight

in slumber we cry aloud

the ink of love

has drizzled away from our hearts

stolen by sorrow

the thief of good nights

from the the river of dreams

and planted mistrust

upon our pillow's feathers

in the bed of night

slumber disguises

as sorrow makes its escape

and flows into our souls

where promise, lies broken

as sorrow makes its escape
and flows into our souls...

I love those two lines, Jon.
