Love in the clutches of pantomime romance and love acted out
ceremoniously
tendering many questions
glances, gestures
nods of affirmation or denial
miens where interpretation
directs, elicits the action
without the spoken word
doubt rules
emotion's domain
desires of the heart
beat unheard by a lover's
cupped, receptive ear
as motionless lips stand near
and thus the touch becomes
the master vocabulary
tenderly caressing
for love and care
firm with insistence, to compliance
with a degree of lifelessness
as displeasure and frustration
race through our minds
love in the clutches of pantomime
secure the art with arms cast
in a gentle embrace
moist kisses on expectant lips
and smiling eyes to light
the unspoken words
LOVING THROUGH/WITH PANTOMIME....HHHMMMMM. CERTAINLY, THIS IS A DIFFERENT WAY OF LOOKING AT...HOW ONE DECLARES LOVE. YOUR VIEW POINT IS WELL TAKEN AND I DO APPRECIATE IT. BUT, I AM OLD, JON(SMILE)...AND I JUST MIGHT MISINTERPRET A JEST, OR A...MOVEMENT. THUS, FOR ME...? NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! CAN TAKE THE PLACE OF WORDS IN CONFIRMING A DECLARATION AS IMPORTANT AS 'LOVE'. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Jon,
This is a challenge to the emotions, their true or false expressions, and I read fear and inability to come to terms with love. Do we act the parts only or do we really feel? Is it all performance without substance, without ever breaking through and joining with another completely?
I love where this goes and where you take me.
