night moves
Mexico’s gulf stream wiggles in the moonlight
from the veranda the rich aromatic bite
of cracked pepper corns is sharp in our nostrils
we slosh chilled sangria to refresh our palettes
plated are black bean fritters, conch chowder
the spicy ambiance celebrating our night moves
salty sea breeze blends repast and romance
gold rings glimmer from my gypsy woman’s ears
her damp shiny black hair showcases perfectly
Brandy wine lips pace my heart’s samba rhythm
for passionate lovers one night is too few
the magic circulating would be tarnished by three
young lovers buoyed by a tryst with passion
simmering in the fires of elemental night moves

But you know night moves are best when extended to brunch.
I like this one, imagery abounds.
