Moon Girl

For you my beautiful friend !

Moon Girl

 

The moon was making an appearance

 

As it waxed across the sky

 

Moon Girl sat their patiently

 

As tears welled in her eyes

 

There maybe a few lunatics

 

And feelings deep inside

 

An overwhelming sense of joy

 

Like a nervous blushing bride

 

Tonight will be a party

 

All nations side be side

 

The moon was casting its glamorous spell

 

While Moon Girl bridged the divide

 

The gathering all danced as one

 

Moon Girl felt their pride

 

The Universe had been thanked

 

Moon beams would supply

 

All through the ages

 

The moon controlled our tides

 

Moon Girl shone so bright

 

She wouldn’t be denied.
