Will I ? Won't I ?

Why not ?

Poem Artwork

How you going John Boy ?

My legendary friend

46 years I’ve waited

Guess I’ll keep it till the end

I would like both my kids

My beautiful gorgeous wife

A set of Libran scales

To symbolise my life.

I'm surprised that this poem was written in 2008. But it is still appropriate today.

Personally, I've never had a need for rings on my fingers or piercings on my ears nose or anywhere else for jewelry that I don't wear. I guess that gives me no status.

Tattoos have been around since prehistory. It seems obvious that they were often inflicted (painful) to offset pain in muscles and joints. Also seem to have been used to signify status in families or tribes.

Personally, like jewelry, I have no need to put some image on my body that would signify my belonging to a group or an ideology. Or simply to carry my art around with me when I just hang it on my walls.

Who you are lies in your mind, heart and soul, nothing will ever change that. Therefore are exterior markers really needed as a reminder...

Be always safe,
