Liberty of the Sea
There is nothing that is quite as free,
as out on the liberty of the sea.
To motor into tropical blue-green waters,
with warm sun and breeze all that matters.
To motor on to beautiful and exotic places,
knowing that you are free from the rat races.
Free to eat whenever and whatever you want,
free to sleep whenever and wherever you want,
free to play sports or games whenever you want,
free to gamble if you want when you want,
free to relax, drink and sunbathe all you want.
All for the cost of the hotel room for the night.
Cruising is all about freedom with all your might.
A salute to the staff of these ships so free,
without their help, such luxury would not be.
If you never have sailed out into the deep,
take a ship on a cruise for memories you'll keep.

My one & only cruise was in January 2011, to Nassau.
It was fabulous to leave all cares behind & enjoy all you
mentioned & more.
Bloody Marys with breakfast & unlimited rashers of bacon !
Eggs & pancakes & hash brown taters - Yum !
Beautiful palm trees swaying in an ocean breeze... Paradise !
Playing the Slots, both onboard & at Atlantis ! Lost my skivvies
but had fun & excitement !
When I someday hit the Lottery, ‘tis top of my Bucket List to go
again !
🌴 🛳 🌴 Aloha !
You deserve such a time such as this.
Not to worry so much
Eat, drink and be merry
Be entertained day and night
To see things that are all brand new
Visit happy places that are so beautiful and bright!
I recall our cruises to the Carribean so well
Loved that blue/green water and that salty sea smell
How do they offer so much for so little pay?
The service crew works for very small wages
So the tips and gratuity go a long, long, way!
If we were allowed to visit their living space
We may be shocked at the conditions in that place
But most are so grateful to live on a ship and serve at sea
Since most do not live so nice in those third-world countries!
That's the rest of the story my friend.
