I'm sure all you housewives out there have experienced this feeling at some point in you marriage.

It's about the feeling of being taken for granted and not appreciated for all the things you do over and over and over...again!

Bored Housewife

Today I'm bored with everyday things,
Cooking, Cleaning, answering the phone when it rings,
So I thought I'd take some time off just for me,
But I find I can't 'cause I'm not really free.

So what is there for me to do?
I sit and think, my choices are few.
The kids will be home from school real soon.
The time goes fast from morning to noon.

Too late to shop, too late for a drive.
I have to wait for the kids to arrive.
So I guess I'll just have to swallow my pride,
And do the work I take in stride.

It will all get done with tender loving care.
But the tears in my eyes spill over in despair.
Now, I'm not always bored with life.
Sometimes, I'm an enchanting housewife.
