There's Always Another Side

There's always another side when things look bad.

If you look real hard, I'm sure you'll be glad.

When your life looks so bleak and troubles soar,

Happiness is waiting if you open the door.

Now I know sometimes it's hard to do,

But so is bearing pain and heartache too.

When your money is low and your paychecks small,

You'll pay lower taxes or pay none at all.

When a loved one is taken, no need to dread.

They aren't gone forever, they just went ahead.

When you get lonely and need a friend.

Just pray to God, and that's what he'll send.

When you are sick and lying in bed,

There's time just for you, and getting books read.

When you’re carrying groceries and the paper bag tears,

Your loads a lot lighter, when going up stairs.

When your children got sick, or hurt when they fell.

Just think what you felt like, when they got well.

When life dishes out problems, that seem hard to take,

Just look on the other side, for your own sake.

If you keep that one thing in mind, when you’re doing all this.

Life will seem easier and filled with such bliss.

Keep God in your life, and close at hand.

You'll never fall, you'll always stand.

So look to the other side, and I'm sure you'll find,

Lots of happiness and peace of mind.
