We've all had experiences with illnesses and this is one of mine. I pray you all find a doctor like this one!

“Now I Can Sleep”

Written for Albert Tseng, M.D.

All alone, feeling scared and laying in a bed,

Trying to remember everything my family doctor said.

“It’s just a test,” he said, “that’s all that it will be,”

But now I’ve been admitted, and no one here knows me.

As I looked up a nice young man came walking through my door,

Hello he said, I will be your doctor for what you have in store.

We think your heart has problems and you must take another test.

I will be right there beside you, now you get some rest.

Somehow, I knew that he was special and the fears I had erased .

I knew he would take care of me with the things I had to face.

If not for him I would have died, bless him Lord I pray.

For I know God picked him just for me, so I would be okay.

I ask God everyday to bless him and keep him safe and sound.

For he is a very special doctor and I want him to stay around.

He made me feel so safe, and I knew he would always be,

Right there helping me understand and taking care of me.

So I ask you God to give him all the best life can afford.

Let him know he’s loved and truly most adored.

He’s a special doctor that touched my heart so deep.

Let him know how special he is, so I can get some sleep.

I remember the doctor who performed angioplasty on me 20 years ago when it was pretty new and how he successfully reduced three blockages I had and extended my life to its present time. Thank God for all these wonderful doctors and I remember him in my prayers also.

A nice tribute. You are lucky indeed to have found a doc with not only the medical skills to heal you, but also the bedside manner to calm and comfort you.

Bonnie,

Would that we would all find a doctor who remembers the Hippocratic oath: first, do no harm. Beautiful.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
