You Make My Heart Giggle
Not many people have a friend like you,
One that makes them laugh when they are feeling blue.
I don’t know what I did to make God love me so,
But I know he does, when you I got to know.
You light up a room when you step inside,
“This is my friend Evie,” I say with such pride.
My family adores you for you are true blue.
I love you my friend for just being you,
You make my heart giggle with all that you say,
You put the sunshine in my dreary day.
Sometimes I giggle so hard I shake,
And shaking so hard I think I might break.
You are so special with a heart made of gold,
When you were made, God broke the mold.
He knew I’d love you from that very first day,
I asked for such a friend every time I would pray.
We shared few tears but laughs they were many,
The fun, joy and memories are so good and plenty.
You’re there in the tough times, you never wriggle,
You’re a pure joy and you make my heart giggle.
