My life was very empty and

My heart was cold and small.

No such thing as love or trust,

And I missed those most of all.

My life was just existence,

There was no warmth for me.

Until you stood beside me,

And helped me feel and see.

Now the only time I get cold,

Is when we are apart.

It only lasts a moment though,

‘Cause you’re always in my heart.

I can't believe the depth of love,

That I now can finally feel.

And nothing in the past comes close,

For this love is truly real.

There are many ways to say I love you,

In the years ahead we'll share.

And one by one I'll show you,

To prove how much I care.
