Our little Treat

What a wonderful little girl you are,

Precious in every way.

Those little squeaks and that half smile,

Surely make our day.

We can't remember what life was like,

When you were not around.

Making life so special,

With your distinctive sounds.

Looking at you for the first time,

We could but only stare.

You were so delicate and tiny,

With a head full of real light hair.

No one could ever tell us,

About the joy we'd feel.

Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves

To prove this feeling’s real.

We wanted you to know,

You made our lives complete.

We love you more and more each day,

And you're our little treat...
