Kindred Spirits

We're like kindred spirits,

We both use computers and type.

You love to read and collect poetry,

And poetry is what I write.

Soon we both are leaving here,

Matter of fact, the very same day.

We're both looking for a new beginning,

Work mixed with a little play.

Yes, we're like kindred spirits,

Both of the same minds.

I hope during our new adventure,

True happiness we'll find.

I don't know which one’s the leader,

I guess it doesn't matter much.

Just as long as our kindred spirits,

Try to keep in touch.

So from one spirit to another,

I wish you the best that life can give.

And may our kindred spirits keep in touch,

As long as they both shall live.
