For someone wrongly accused!

Truth Will Be Known

I know the person she is, to her very core,

Why cant' those other people see?

There's no way she could do those things,

She’s honest with feelings and her heart bleeds.

I know someday they'll know the truth,

That having her as a friend, they are very blessed.

But that doesn't help with her emotions now,

'Cause now she’s feeling low & distressed.

How could they accuse her of such awful things?

It’s just not in her to be dishonest & unkind.

She gives so much to all who know her?

They must be dim-witted and blind.

She can take it, I know she can,

For her character is strong.

She’s done nothing to be ashamed of,

And she’s done nothing wrong.

I’m grateful for all those that believe in her,

And all the kindness they have shown.

With their help, she’ll get through all this,

Knowing someday the truth will be known.
