I Must Give God Many Giggles

Oh what a sense of humor HE must have.

I Must Give God Many Giggles

Oh, I think I can do most anything,
And handle trials that come my way.
Not asking for help because I know it all,
Not listening or hearing what others say.

Even when God shows me that I can’t
Make it on my own.
I keep trying to prove I can,
Trying to handle things alone.

He must be up there giggling and thinking,
Why doesn’t this child learn?
She knows when she plays with fire,
She’s going to get hurt and burned.

But HE lets me try and try again,
Standing close by along the way.
‘Cause in the middle of all my dilemmas,
It’s to HIM I go to and finally pray.

God knows my frailties for he made me,
And HE loves me just the same.
I must give HIM many giggles when I
Always call his name.

Written to a (( T )) Bonnie I just loved this.
Easy flowing right on point expressing some of what we all go through at times. Thank goodness HE is always available whenever we need HIM.

Cute one which I think God would get a kick out of. Prayer is so simple that we often neglect it.

Only someone who knows and loves God, can write this kind of poem. Your relationship with Him is on solid ground! I too believe He laughs "with us";-)!

Love,
Eileen

What a delightful and sensitive poem! Proves you and He have good relations.
And you give us many delightful giggles, too, Bonnie! But girl...don't test His wit...or wisdom; get more rest now, y'hear!

with smiles in my inkwell...
