Oh I love St. Patty's Day!

Poem Artwork

Three Wishes

I am so excited; St. Patty’s day is here,
Lots of joy, lots of green and lots of Irish cheer.
All the Shamrocks and the Clover decorate the town.
All hoping to see the little people dancing all around.

Where are all the leprechauns, I wonder where they hide.
They are such little things but loaded with colossal pride.
I don’t want their pot of gold, they don’t have to fear.
I only want three wishes so I hope they come this year.

The first thing I would wish for is love throughout this land.
So neighbors would love thy neighbors and try to understand.
The second wish I would make, is for peace eternally,
And I won’t need my third wish, if these they’d grant to me.

Bonnie, This is the sweetest poem ever. I pray that your wishes be granted as every mom in this world probably says the same pray.
Love you
