A friend of mine gave her son to God but it was the hardest thing she ever experienced. God Bless Jacob

God Spoke

A young mother went to Israel to walk where Jesus walked.
While she was standing at the tomb she heard the tour guide talk.
But she felt so weak, her knees gave way and she lay upon the ground.
She heard God’s voice speaking to her and heard no other sound.

God told her he was calling her son Jacob, to be with him.
She begged him to take her instead, for Jacob was free of sin.
Everyday that she was there, she prayed for her son’s life.
She offered everything she had, but feeling doom and strife.

When she returned home, she saw her son Jacob was just fine.
She stayed extra close to him, looking for God’s sign.
After many prayers, she told God that HIS will be done.
She would understand if he decided to take her son.

Still hoping with everything in her, that it was just a dream.
She prayed that Jacob would be spared, & was not in God’s scheme.
But then one night she called her son, from playing in his room.
Jacob said, he was playing with an angel, her heart felt so much gloom.

God took Jacob home that night in such a gentle way.
Jacob held a Teddy Bear with hands folded as he prayed.
His Mother lay beside him, she knew Jacob was with God.
And knew he went willingly, realizing God took him out of love.

This is so sad, yet uplifting because of the mother's submission to God's will. How remarkably gracious of God to prepare her as He did.
Beautifully done, Bonnie.

Love, Connie

Oh gosh, how does one ever come to terms with such a loss.
So dreadfully sad, yet written with such loving dignity and grace

My heart is crushed and tears flow like rivers at the innate sadness in the agonizing piece, yet out of love this very special child was summoned home to serve a better good, inspirationally wonderful...

Be always safe,
Karen

So sad; it doesn't make sense for a child to die! Very well penned, Bonnie! Yet God has His reasons! We will find out why when He comes back; sometimes though it doesn't make any sense!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears! <

So sad but also joyous a poem. He really went to be with God and saw an angel and she left him go peacefully. You are great at things like this. I am trying to get more faith and you are helping.

Oh, what a predicament! Who dares or can fight with the Maker? Still, sad though less so if the child was suffering some incurable disease.
