We never forget our first love, I never did.

Misty for Me!

I remember the day I bought my first car.
It was the most beautiful car on the road by far.
A yellow Corvair Spider convertible & she was my dream.
Everywhere we went, she was the first to be seen.

Oh, I thought we were hot stuff back then with a car like that.
Driving all over the place and both purring like two cats.
I was so proud of her and content behind her wheel.
Exhilarated with excitement was how I would feel.

I worked so hard to pay for her & didn’t mind a bit.
For Misty and I belonged together, we totally fit.
They say you never get over your first love which is certainly true .
I never loved a car like that again, my love affairs were through.

Well, don't you look cool, sitting there purring!

One of our earliest was a convertible, too. I sure wouldn't want one now--too old for the windblown hairstyle!

Love, Connie
