Trust Can Be Rebuilt!
You showed me no reason to believe in what you say.
You told so many untruths and they stand in the way.
Trust is a weird and wonderful thing that you can not control.
No matter how you try, the doubt lives in your soul.
Our value is in what we say and how we follow through.
So when you lie & let me down, the shame is on you.
That’s when trust starts dying and can not return.
Until you realize what you’ve done, it’s a lesson you must learn.
Something valuable was broken something cherished and sublime. .
Trust can be rebuilt, but it may take a long, long time.
When you act and when you speak that’s what makes you, you,
Your deceiving actions must end and your words must be true .
In time trust can grow again to be as strong as before.
It takes a little energy, some time, it can be a hard chore.
But it can be done successfully for the power is inside of you.
You must believe in yourself and know others soon will too.
