Sometimes my heart is so full and my head is completely empty. Its at these times I feel called to pull back and regroup, find my core and renew my soul.

Sometimes

Sometimes, I find the necessity to be alone.
No one coming over, and no one on the phone.
No one to talk to me and not a soul to mentor.
This is very odd for me for people are my center.

I don’t know what the reason is but I know it must be.
I know I must adhere to it, to set these feelings free.
There are many reasons; I must take time to pray.
Hoping it’s a short time that I keep my friends at bay.

Sometimes we get so busy and in circles we do run,
We are going nowhere and don’t get the critical things done.
These are the times we must take, to unexpectedly re-group.
Afterward, we will have the time, to totally recoup.

So if you do what I sometimes do, take this time for you.
You will not be sorry, you will be renewed.

It is a well known fact that we all need time to renew ourselves and should find the time and method that suits us and do it often. It makes for much better relationships, and all around better health! Excellent poem Bonnie!...ET

...honest and knowing words...you share with us...reminding me...not to worry...when the silence of the heart...has met the soul within...being all of the company it needs.

You are thinking alright Bonnie, we all need downtime and time to reflect and get in touch with God. Rest is essential for us to go on and to keep our minds active. Good thinking and writing also.

Sometimes my heart is so empty than nothing I do can put something inside, like in a room without walls...

That's what I do too. Sometimes I find it necessary to go hide away and just stay by myself for a while, until I'm peerked up in spirit once again.

Wonderful write!!!
