So what's a little pain between friends.

Listening to Your Heart!

Listening to your heart may get you into trouble.
It leaves you wide open for someone to burst your tiny bubble.
I found listening to my inner spirit is another way to go.
The spirit seems to feel the discord and always seems to know.

It’s not always easy, for your heart can over-power you.
It doesn’t think, it jumps in carelessly with total abandonment too.
Sometimes you have to put a rein on it, to give your spirit a chance.
And if you do, you may be better off and won’t have as many rants.

But if you choose to let your heart control your every thought.
You’ll have a more exciting life, a life you may have sought.
For it not only gets you into difficulty it also finds happiness galore.
And it makes you want to reach out and get a whole lot more.

If the heart doesn't think, then it might be dangerous to listen to the heart.

You should get your own newspaper column & call it "Tell it to Bonnie" & you can distribute advice & become famous, just don't forget us little people in your rise to stardom...Hmmm, Dr Bonnie, has a nice ring to it...;-) Ed

Sometimes the heart doesn't take time to think things out. Is this good or bad? Sometimes there IS no time! I guess if the spirit is right, the heart will do okay when it's put on the spot.
It doesn't take much thinking to love this sweet picture.
Just excuse my ramblings today...got a sneezy, runny, drippy, stuffy cold--and I can't take powerful pills...so I'm definitely not in fine fettle today.
Love,
Connie

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
