Repeat it, Never
There are many things in my life that I’d like to repeat.
Like my first taste of ice cream and my first grilled meat.
I’d like to feel my first kiss again to compare with my last.
I’d like to repeat occurrences once more from my past.
But there is one thing I’d never want to live over again.
It’s those crazy teenage years when hearts never mend.
We thought they were hard back then but nothing like now.
Getting through them nowadays, they should all take a bow.
Most of us had our parents to lean on back then.
They’d fix our boo boos and help our hearts mend.
But now children are left many times on their own.
Losing themselves in computers, Ipods and phones.
So many parents both have to work these days,
They’re tired and busy during their children’s craze.
The cutting, the tatooing and beer parties in the backyard.
The struggles and the drugs are so unbearably hard.
I don’t understand how out of control things can get.
But there is one thing for sure and one winning bet.
To repeat those years I would say, “Never in this life.”
For I wouldn’t survive it, not for one night.

NO way - I was sexually abused by my father, as he "tried" to prey on my friends, I had very few cuz of him!He is still alive
and my mom passed on before him and she knew...
WE must stay strong - to go back to being a teen, never, but pregnant and 21 - YES -

P.s. Problem with teens today ( and society) they leave children be, Solitary life styles/Ipods/computers/etc... It's sad and children don't really realize it! Till they are hooked and friends have the same!
