This poem is for Linda, my dear friend on AD. She took a little ugly box that no one wanted and turned it into her masterpiece. Love ya Linda.

Poem Artwork

A MasterPiece

She bought an ugly box that someone discarded in a garage sale.
She found something unique about it, but she could never tell.
She tried all colors of paint but nothing she did or tried sufficed.
She kept this box around awhile because she paid a price.

Then one day she had a vision to change the box she had bought.
She purchased paint, some materials and other things she sought.
When she was done and the box was finished, she stood back and smiled.
For she was looking at her beautiful Masterpiece, something once defiled.

This is what our creator does for us; we’re mere bits of ugly clay.
He molds us and shapes us, in his most unusual way.
Then we turn into his Masterpiece a beautiful one indeed.
We would have been discarded too, if he hadn't seen our need.

Garage sales are the best...there you can find a wife without a mother in law attached to the bargain! ha! ha! ha! ha!

This was such a sweet tribute to my box and to me as well as to others... because this is TRUE... often we discard things without hesitation..okay...but too often we discard the people in our lives who are worth saving....sometimes it doesn't even need flashy colors to brighten the soul...just a little attention, a kind word, a smile.. but then of course...there's me.... just send cash!!!! $$$$ hehehehe.... thought I'd throw in a zinger for ya' Ms. Bonnie.. thank you for this thoughtful deed... and my box gets to be a celebrity too! hugs, lindalaw

Really proves that one person's abandoned discard can truly be another's cherished treasure.
