Taking and Giving I have held you In the dark and silent night With passion struggling To find its breath And you have held me In comfort as sighs Escaped me In good time Pleasure I had Never known Built in me To find a place Where I could believe And feel at home While taking all that in And learning to accept It had not occurred to me That I had done the same For you, for we.
